We are certified to the ISO 14001 environmental management standard. Our team reviews the previous year's targets and determine policies for the next year, then, we continuously enhance and improve our EMS in harmony with our business activities. We will use resources and energy efficiently and promote sustainable development from now on.
The company is aware of the environment and the use of natural resources for the maximum benefit by focusing on sustainable environmental conservation and in accordance with the policy guidelines of the Ministry of Industry. Therefore, a biogas production project was established. It is a wastewater treatment by using a closed system (anaerobic) to conserve energy and the environment. By using biogas obtained from the wastewater treatment process of the factory are recycled as renewable energy in the factory production process.
The global landscape faces significant water stress due to various factors. According to Aqueduct, a water stress analysis tool by the World Resources Institute, our factory location is at high risk of water shortage, droughts, and inadequate wastewater treatment.
Under this circumstance, one of the essential factors for our business is efficient water management. We are utilizing available water resources effectively and implementing water recycling in order to provide a consistent supply of water throughout the year, guaranteeing uninterrupted production and preventing water stress.
All water used in factory operations is properly treated according to relevant legal and regulatory requirements. We've implemented many technologies that enable us to treat and reuse water in multiple ways. Additionally, upon request from a local office, we provide treated water to neighborhood farmers. This initiative helps farmers reduce water costs, accelerate grass field growth, and improve overall grass quality. These efforts contribute significantly to water conservation and enhance the well-being of our local society.
In conclusion, our proactive approach to water sustainability demonstrates our commitment to responsible corporate practices and minimizes negative influence of water stress through effective water management. We not only prevent our operations against potential water stress but also contribute positively to environmental stewardship.
