Training for increase yields

On January 30, 2024, Faculty of Agriculture, Khon Kaen University, organized a training program with us. The objective is to share the knowledge of cassava plantation to farmers especially Khon Kaen and Kalasin province. In this program, we provided the method of using one of the biological fertilizers to increase the yield of cassava roots at the end of the rainy season. We are pleased to contribute to farmers’ better lives by training and seminars with related parties.

Education for disease resistance

In Thailand, Cassava Mosaic Disease (CMD) was spreading in 2020, which was a serious and big effect to decrease the production of Cassava. In order to prevent, we provided to farmers clean stem with cooperation with TTDI and educate them to use disease resistance stems properly. Also, we have patrolled fields, and if found disease, we have cooperated with the local office and farmers how to treat disease.

       We would like to thank our membership farmers for continuous supply of cassava roots to us. We hold a thank you party for farmers in Kalasin province. Over 250 farmers participated in the last party. Also, we did a commendation ceremony for top sales farmers to us.
       We make close relationship with farmers and enjoy the party together. We will always walk together with farmers and develop activities for them continuously.

       The situation of Cassava Mosaic Disease (CMD) is gradually spreading out in Kalasin. We organize CMD seminar to share our knowledge of following points with farmers ;
- Outbreak situation of CMD
- Conditions of CMD
- Guidelines for surveillance, prevention and elimination of CMD according to the guidelines of the Department of Agriculture.
       In addition, We have Elisa program, which can confirm whether cassava roots are infected by CMD or not. We can promote this program to many farmers to utilize. We are very pleased and hope that our innovation will help farmers to have better productivity and provide them with a good quality of life.

Coaching for new varieties and technique

We have knowledge and technique to increase stem by using test house and irrigation system in our factory. Also, we have tested to plant new variety, which have the potential to improve the income of farmers and expand the potential for the competitiveness of tapioca products. We will continue to try new things as a leading company in the tapioca starch industry.

Partnership with Local Authorities

We concluded MOU with Kalasin province in 2020 and Khon Kaen University in 2021, which purpose is for development farming for Cassava farmers in Kalasin. Continuously we will proceed action for Cassava farmers to achieve better farming, and better lives with cooperation with various authorities and companies together.
